Accessibility statement

Our commitment to accessibility

The CISO Village Summit 2027 website strives to be accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and its regulations, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

The standard applied

The site was built to conform to Israeli Standard SI 5568 (equivalent to WCAG 2.0 level AA). We work to ensure conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA as far as the systems allow.

Accessibility menu

The site includes an accessibility menu available from every page through the floating button in the bottom corner of the screen (accessibility icon) or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+U. The menu offers personal adjustments that are saved in the browser:

• Larger text (4 levels, up to 25% above the default)
• Increased line spacing and letter spacing
• Dyslexia-friendly font
• Highlighted links and highlighted headings
• High contrast / dark / light / grayscale — at the user’s choice
• Hide images (for distraction-free reading)
• Stop animations and motion (respects prefers-reduced-motion)
• Large mouse cursor
• A horizontal reading guide that follows the cursor
• Reset to all default settings

Built-in accessibility features

• Full support for keyboard-only navigation (Tab/Shift+Tab/Enter).
• A “Skip to content” link that appears first when navigating by keyboard on every page.
• Semantic markup (heading hierarchy, landmarks, ARIA).
• High color contrast, meeting the 4.5:1 minimum for regular text.
• Compatibility with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
• All informative images carry alt text; decorative images are marked so that screen readers ignore them.
• Accessible forms: every field is labelled with a <label>, errors are indicated in text (role=alert) and not by color alone, and required fields are marked both visually and with aria-required.
• Zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality.
• Full right-to-left and left-to-right support, a legible font, and a base text size of at least 16px.

Exceptions and known issues

• Third-party content: the payment provider’s payment screen (Cardcom) is external; its accessibility is the provider’s responsibility.
• Videos: embedded videos do not include captions in every case. A transcript can be requested at accessibility@windman.co.il.
• PDF files: some files uploaded by third parties (program, booklets) may not be fully accessible. An accessible version can be requested.

Accessibility at the venue

Sign-language interpretation / live captioning are available by prior arrangement (at least 14 days before the conference) via accessibility@windman.co.il.

Testing performed

The site was tested with automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) and manually with screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS/iOS). A professional opinion from a certified accessibility auditor is available on request.
